Description
The large Alba Board is 30 x 40cm in size and can be used as a chopping board or a serving board.
Every Alba Chopping Board is unique! This is because it is made entirely out of offcuts destined to be firewood from my local sawmill. This is our signature product which started everything at Alba Woodcrafts.
We use the off-cuts which are too good to go to waste and make them into these chopping boards to have a new life which makes this a very sustainable and environmentally friendly product.
Every board comes with a little card to identify which wood types are used in your board so you can use it to hone up on your Scottish wood identification!
The boards are engraved with our logo and finished with food-safe mineral oil. Please get in touch if you would like a board with a personalised engraving.
The most common wood species are oak, ash, elm, beech and sycamore. We try to include at least one of each type in each board but it depends on off-cut availability.
