My name is Douglas Birley and I am training to become a professional furniture maker. Courses, materials and tools are expensive and so to fund my learning and to build up my skills of woodwork and running a business, I decided to start Alba Woodcrafts.
Everything I sell is completely handmade by me in my workshop in Fife, Scotland. I work solely with wood sourced from Scotland and take pride in everything I make.
